Celebrating 40 years of Special Olympics in Great Britain, the Anniversary Games were held from 9th to 13th August at the University of Stirling.
Six of our athletes were amongst 1,400 athletes with intellectual disabilities from across Great Britain and other European countries in 9 different sports. We had four competing in boccia, one in table tennis and one in badminton.
They returned with 4 gold medals, 5 silver and 2 bronze plus one 4th place and one 5th place.
